Surfeo the expert in Business Development for Aerospace and defense in Europe





The beginnings


It starts with an improbable meeting, and a transformation into an entrepreneurial project, 10 years ago. Thierry & Alain the two protagonists combined in 2007 date of the creation of Surfeo more than 50 years of accumulated experience in the B2B sale in Europe and in the USA of technical solutions with high added values in sectors of niche such as the " Aeronautics, defense, space, energy, medical, test, rail, electronics, automotive in sales and management roles.

Key dates


First, 2007 creation of Surfeo, an innovative business model, unique in the aeronautics sector in which we wanted to offer our business development services. 2007, first customers to satisfy, win their trust. 2009, first successes for our Clients, new programs and renovation. 2010, purchase of 60m ² of office in Paris. Investment that will condition the development of the company. 2011, first employee, big leverage! 2011, investment in Oracle on-demand CRM. 2012, new contracts in the USA. 2013, Paris Air Show. 2013, migration to CRM Salesforce, more efficient. 2014, purchase of new premises, 160m ² in open space near Paris la Defense. 2015, strong signal, Surfeo is certified ISO9001 and EN9100. 2016, new contracts in Europe, Germany, United Kingdom, France. 2017, 10 years already! Paris Air Show


Achievements


Confidentiality obliges, no communication on our successes. But few figures from Surfeo in 2016: $ 10 million in contracts signed by our customers in Europe, 200 tenders, RFI, RFP followed by our teams, 700 customer appointments, 600 conferences call, 13,000 phone calls, 12 account managers in the field, close and regular relations with 8000 decision-makers of 2500 prime contractors in aeronautics all over Europe.


The future


10 years, clear vision of Surfeo in the chain. Creation of value for our stakeholders, sourcing for the key players, professionalization of the commercial function for aerospace & defense, improvement of the dialogue between the big companies and their subcontractors ... and a lot of work! Two recurring requests from our Clients, the creation of a mirror company in Surfeo in the USA and an identical offer of Surfeo for the markets with the same characteristics as the A&D.
