2020 Europe's premier global B2B space event : PARIS SPACE WEEK

Paris Space Week will take place in Paris from the 25th to the 26th of February

With more than 1,000 participants, 400 exhibitors, 9,000 meetings and 40 speakers, PARIS SPACE WEEK is the world's first B2B space event dedicated to launch vehicles, satellites, and space-related technologies.

The Paris Space Week is the main tradeshow with business meetings, conferences and innovation challenges over the space industry. During two days, you’ll have the chance to develop strategic connections and relationships with all players in the space sector. As the place where the European Space industry gathers each year, PSW features events of all kinds. Whether your goal is to make new professional connections, reconnect with old ones or stay up-to-date on the industry, Paris Space Week has something for you.

The show will also be a place of innovation where professionals will be able to discover the issues that will shape the future by attending workshops, forums, and events. Among these innovations, small satellites (SmallSats) as well as nanosats (CubeSats) will be in the spotlight.

The Space Industry is emerging as one of the most lucrative industry globally. This industry is valued at US$ 360 billion in 2018 and is projected grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.6%, to value US$ 558 billion by 2026.

The space industry is witnessing disruption from the influx of new space systems, products, and services. The industry is becoming highly competitive and a major focus is on developing flexible and affordable solutions for end customers.

Among these new space systems and products, satellites are in the spotlight, with innovations like SmallSats and CubeSats, or also with the MakerSat and HaloSat. Furthermore, these nanosatellites are expected to represent the highest proportion of market spending.

At a ministerial conference held in Seville at the end of November, the 22 ESA member countries allocated a global envelope of €14.4 billions to future space programs, over a period of three to five years.

Germany created the surprise by putting the largest envelope on the table (€3.3 billions), ahead of France (€2.7 billions), Italy (€2.3 billions) and the United Kingdom (€1.6 billions), thus capturing the French, in the long term, the title of first ESA contributor country.
