ANA decided to modernize its fleet. The Japanese company announced the 29th january that they ordered 48 last generation single-aisle to make its flights capabilities more efficient.

About this order, it regards acquisition of 20 737 MAX D plus 10 options that will be used for domestic connections and will take place of 737 NG currently in service. Regarding the A320neo, they will use it for Peach.

ANA already owns eighteen A320neo/A321neo and judged that aircraft performance perfectly suits its subsidiary's strategy, Peach. Currently, Peach operates 23 A320 and is nearly merging with Vanilla Air to become a fleet of about 50 aircraft. This merger will allow Peach to be able to serve farther destination.

This command was motivated by Asian economic growth followed by a raise of travel demand especially in emerging countries and Japan. Even with latest natural disaster in Japan, ANA maintained its performance. Thanks to this high demand and good international results (commercial and cargo), ANA turnover raise about 5,2%to reach 14,33 billion$. Thanks to this raise the Japanese company renew its confidence to two major aircraft manufacturer: Airbus and Boeing.
