Leader worldwide of below than 90 seats planes market and created from an equal partnership between two European giants France located Airbus and the Italian Leonardo. ATR is specialized in turboprop propulsor and is located next to his mother company in Toulouse.
2017 has been an amazing year for ATR. The company had a total amount of command of 113 orders plus 40 in option. They outperformed during this year as they only had 36 orders in 2016. Their best customers are Fedex, Indigo and Iran Air for a turnover that is 1,8 billion dollars this year including 300 million. Which represent the best result over the 35 years of existence of this company.
It has also been a very good year in term of delivery. During 2017, ATR delivered 80 aircraft. They produced 70 new ATR 72-600s, 8 new ATR 42-600s, 2 second-hand ATRs. This number of delivery give to the European brand a book-to-bill of 1.45 in 2017.
2018 is going also to be a prosperous year for the firm as they already booked more than three years of production with the previous orders which give good opportunities to develop. The main market they target are India, China and United States
