Boeing and Embaer announce a $4,75 Billion joint venture

Brazilian and American companies Embaer and Boeing announced last week a strategic partnership between the two entities. The aim of this collaboration and joint venture creating is to quickly operate a market growth over global aviation industry.

Boeing and Embaer announced a new Joint Venture

This non-binding joint venture will reunite commercial aircraft and service business from Embaer and commercial development, production, marketing and lifecycle operation from American giant. The Brazilian companies will hold 20% of company shares and Boeing the 80% left.


The joint venture will become Boeing center of excellence for end to end design, manufacturing and support of commercial aircraft. Regarding the production activities of the joint venture will be fully integrated to Boeing production and supply chain.



With this new joint venture, Boeing increases its aircraft portfolio, and now manufacture aircraft from 70 to +450 seats.

The two American companies will create soon another joint venture that will have as main objectives to promote and make access to new markets and application to military and Defense products such as the KC-390 program.


This commercial aviation joint venture will be led by a fully Brazilian based management including a CEO and a President with Boeing operational and management control. In the coming months, the financial and operational details will be checked and the beginning of the activity is expected by the end of 2019 which would represent a 12 to 19 months after the defined agreement.
