Main objectives are now to launch a new study phase before end of 2018 in order to quickly launch demonstrators to have in 2025 a better idea of what will be the chosen concept that will be pick to equipped French and German fleet.
This letter of intent follows signature of HLCORD in April during ILA Berlin that has as main objective to define operational needs of French and German army. This collaboration led by Franco-German coalition sustains European sovereignty over technology and leadership in the military segment; this program will include the manufacture of drones, communication technology, air & command, airplane, and transport planes. SCAF should rely on artificial intelligence to manage the program.
Next important step is to define industrial distribution of the program as both France and Germany try to favorize their own industrial and technological base.
