Parisian airports record highest traffic during summer 2018

Parisian airport's traffic increase of 3,5% during last summer with 220,6 million passengers recorded between beginning of July and end of August 2018. It represents the highest traffic affluence during this period according to ADP group.

Charles-De-Gaulle Airport is still the main airport of Paris with a rise of 4,5% of the traffic in July, around 7,2 million passengers whereas Orly recorded a rise of 3,6% and 3,1 million passengers. The total over July is 10,2 million passengers which is again a record for the period.

To illustrate this high density of passengers during the summer, ADP recorded 50 days with more than 320.000 passenger a day.

"Summer recorded a traffic rise, but the most important thing is the fluidity that have been renewed for the passenger customs passage." Said Edward Arkwright Director General Executive at ADP group.

This data changed because French government gave as objective to never make people wait over 45 minutes at customs for an international flight and 30 minutes for a Schengen flight. This is now possible thanks to the 95 facial check airlock when there was only 37 a year ago.

About the whole 2018 year, even with Air-France-KLM strikes ADP recorded a rise of 3,2% of traffic.
