Hungarian low-cost company WizzAir launchs on the 13th March 2018 the main expansion plan of his 14 years history. That represents an investment of more than 2 billion dollars. This major investment from the low-cost company will be spread over 11 based over European area mainly Eastern Europe, in Greece, Estonia, Austria ,and Ukraine.

During next seventeen weeks expansion will take place for WizzAir. It will be materialized by adding 21 aircraft to Hungarian company's European bases that will allow them to launch 700 new departures per weeks.

It already starts this week with the arrival of new A320 in Budapest's airport. There will then be a total of 11 aircraft based in Hungary's capital's airport.

"More and more customers choose to fly with Wizz Air every year, enjoying the connectivity of Wizz Air’s extensive route network of more than 600 routes to 145 destinations across 44 countries," claimed Owain Jones, Chief Corporate Officer at Wizz Air.

About France, there are already new lignes planned especially in Lyon Saint-Exupery airport that will go to Cluj in Romania for example and Nice with a new route to Vienna that will open in 2019.

We also can notice that the all-Airbus operator only received 87 aircraft over the 387 they ordered so this is only a start for Hungarian low-cost airline.
